Welcome to our travel blog. This project has been a work in progress and a dream come true for me, Jessica, and Amanda! We couldn’t be more excited for launch day!
We all have a deep love for travel and a strong desire to help other parents and families of all sizes, in making memories full of fun and laughter. We are only given 18 summers to pour into our children, the love of travel, adventure, and experiencing all the excursions these destinations have to offer. I want my children’s lives to be a scrapbook of places we’ve been and the things we’ve done together, to cherish for many years to come and we want the same for you!
Not all our trips will be big, grand, expensive events. That’s what is so amazing about life is the small things make a huge impact. When I was a kid, my family loved camping. One summer my parents bought a camper and we got to go more often and all year ‘round. However, my fondest memories were BEFORE the camper. Camping in October, within a small campground, cuddled up together in a little 4-person tent. I remember so vividly the smell of the tent and the faint smell of that campfire smoke that lingered in the air after you’ve retreated to bed. I love the feeling of emerging from the zippered door, to be greeted by the morning sun and the crisp clean air. Those are the memories I cherish the most.
All of this to say, within this blog we hope to inspire families to get out and travel together. Whether that is to the camp ground down the street, Disney World, or going on excursion in a new country. As mothers, we want to share our experiences traveling with our own families and expertise gained as travel agents to help make your vacations fun, memorable, less stressful, and budget friendly.
We are so excited and thankful that you will be joining Blue Butterfly Travel on this journey. Together will fly to new heights, new destinations, and transform our idea about what it means to go on vacation.
